Community Programs
Join the over 1,700 community members of all ages that participate in Community Art Center’s year-round Community Programs! The events and projects use arts-based activities to connect our community, increase the civic engagement of Cambridge residents, and provide a platform for the stories and artwork of our youth. Our community programs can be found onsite at Community Art Center, in the surrounding Port neighborhood, Central Square, and at Kendall Center’s Urban Park Rooftop Garden. We offer a range of community programs for people of all ages and artistic abilities, including Paint & Sip classes, Kids Crafternoons, and Canvas & Cookies community painting classes.
We hope to see you at a future community class, event or workshop! Check our calendar for upcoming opportunities.
We have been doing a lot of great (and popular) activities with a variety of organizations and companies in the community lately (including Kendall Square/ Boston Properties; Takeda; Healthpeak Properties/ Craft Food Hall; Hildebrand Family Self Help Center, etc.). The great thing about working with us, is that our instructors are great at working with all levels/ all ages, and in a myriad of different mediums. We routinely receive feedback that they are the best part of the activities!
