2006-2007 Voices of Katrina is a project that provided resources and real life experiences to the youth in our community. With the help of the Sparkpllug Foundation, seven youth representatives from TMP traveled to New Orleans to connect with survivors of a natural and political disaster. This video is a small window into their experiences as they listened, and learned about the devasting time in the history of New Orleans and theses people's lives.

Scam is a short video documentary/PSA about the recent scam that the Community Art Center experienced at the time of their technology purchases. After hearing the story Shanti Oppenheimer, an intermediate teen in the TMP program, felt compelled to address this issue of fraudulent crimes and what draws people to commit them. Through this video Shanti wanted to communicate not only to the people who are at risk of being scammed, but also wanted to send a message to those commiting such crimes.

The Recognized Girl is a project lead
by young women who examined popular images of women in Art History as a means to engage in a dialogue about self-image and identity. Along with video the girls also explored large format photography as they composed and captured their self portraits. Project still in progress, new participants are welcome.

The Card Bored is an advanced project written, directed, and produced by Annie Lensch. The video is a fictionalized narrative portrait of her brother who acts as Card in the video. Card's daily boredom leads him to construct a cardboard friend for himslef who then becomes a concern for his parents. What and see what happens to Card.
SP 2007 Who Am I? is a beginning group video project where the teens learn the basics of technical and artistic skills guided by a creative theme: Black History. For this project each teen chose a prominent African American icon that they would like to represent. Taking on a creative performance approach the teens embodied the persona commuicating a bit of personal history and knowledge to their audience.
